MS. BLARNEY 2019
Taylor Lassi, 2019 Ms. Blarney Contest winner
Taylor Lassi is a driven, fun-loving, and fearless lassie.
Taylor was the 2019 Ms. Blarney. A Princess in 2018, she has been helping raise money for the American Diabetes Association by organizing fundraising events and reaching out for donations throughout the year. Ms. Blarney visits Camp Needlepoint every year.
The MSPDA thanks Taylor for all of her hard work as the 2019 Ms. Blarney!
Ms. Blarney's princesses, who participate in the Ms. Blarney Contest, ride alongside Ms. Blarney in parades and help with fundraising for the MSPDA. Often seen wearing a sash, tiara, and plenty of green to show off their Irish pride.
From left to right: Teri Brisson (Ms. Blarney 2016), MacKenzie Flickinger, Tonya Murchy, Taylor Lassi (Ms. Blarney 2019), Darci Wing (Ms. Blarney 2018), Megan Eliason, Liz Johnson, LaDonna Von Stoetzel.
A rough and tumble group of kindhearted lads who devote their time to assisting Ms. Blarney and her Princesses with whatever they may need, from transportation and escorting to laughing and sharing a pint.
Notable qualities are a positive disposition on life, kilt on at all times, and a mind toward Irish pride and charity.
If you are interested in joining the Kilt boys, contact CT at email@example.com.
Many thanks to our 2018 MSPDA Honorees for their wonderful representation!

2019 CELEBRITY GRAND MARSHAL
In addition to be being a long-time reporter and anchor at Fox 9 News, Tim and his family have had a lasting relationship with the ADA's Camp Needlepoint for children affected by diabetes. Camp Needlepoint is one of the charities supported by the Minneapolis St. Patrick's Day Association. Both of Tim's and his wife Susan's daughters were diagnosed with T1D as children. Their oldest daughter, Madison, has attended Camp Needlepoint every summer since she was nine years old. Now in college, Madison returns each year to serve as a counselor to give children the same experience she had as a camper.
Additionally, St. Patrick's Day has a special meaning for Tim and Susan--it's their wedding anniversary. Susan's father traces his heritage back to Sligo. They chose to get married on St. Patrick's Day so they'd always have a big reason to celebrate. Participating in this year's parade will make it extra special.
